PhD student Grace becomes Trustee of NF2 BioSolutions UK & Europe

Grace Gregory recently accepted an invitation to join the Board of Trustees at the NF2 BioSolutions UK & Europe, a charity that funds vital research into the rare disease NF2-related schwannomatosis (NF2). As a Trustee she will actively contribute to the organisation's goals by participating in board meetings, shaping policies, and recognising prospective donors while using her expertise to identify advantageous research opportunities and advocate for people with NF2. Grace has been an NF2 BioSolutions-funded PhD student since 2021, with a prior research background in neuroscience and drug discovery. Her doctoral studies focus on how inflammation may progress brain tumour growth in patients with NF2. In addition to her new role as a Trustee, she is committed to science communication and the NF2 community, having set up and written for the NF2 BioSolutions blog and can be contacted at grace@nf2biosolutions.org.
